Otavalo & the Inca Trail (Northern Highlands)

Get ready for living the real Ecotourism Experience in this country full of landscapes, culture and adventure! The Andean region of Ecuador, commonly known as ¨La Sierra¨, is the most visited in the country due to its cultural and natural diversity. From the very first week of this tour you will be able to experience the magnificence of Ecuador’s majestic mountains and volcanoes, starting by preparing your heart at its capital, San Francisco de Quito (most commonly known as Quito), which is located almost 3000 meters above sea level. We will visit some of the most famous volcanic lakes of the continent and go shopping at the biggest, colorful Indian artisan market of South America: Otavalo.

After having shared with the Otavalo locals, and visited a splendid volcanic lake named Cuicocha, we will relax at one of the oldest Haciendas of the Andes Region, where we will prepare for our trekking/horseback riding tour through the Inca trail.  On our way we will see how the beautiful Condor flies over us.
